Hours: This is a Full Time position 4 days per week that includes call rotation. Call is on rotation between four techs. If working as PRN the shifts would be on call at least one weekend per month.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology Program; ARRT Certified, current BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Experience: 1-2 CT experience preferred.
  • Certifications: ARRT (RT) required. Preferred ARRT (RT)(CT), or willing to obtain certification
  • Background study and pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares patients for X-Ray/CT/DXA exams, positions patients based upon the type of procedure to be performed.
  • Administers contrast and starts IVs safely as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Adjusts switches regulating length and intensity of exposure.
  • Maintains quality assurance by performing appropriate validity tests and keeping quality assurance records, as required by Equipment Manual.
  • Reviews images in PACS prior to Radiologist review in PACS, send images as requested to outside facilities for continuity of care.
  • Positions patient under X-Ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and provides appropriate radiation protection.
  • Prepares reports and maintains records of services rendered.
  • Maintains and operates all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.
  • Completes quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices as well as testing processes.
  • Maintains supplies, cleans rooms and equipment, and stocks exam rooms.
  • Notifies supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or facility is not operating as expected.
  • Manages patient flow and volume. Keeps patients informed of expected wait times
  • Responsible for clerical tasks associated with patient care and proper record keeping. Ensures accuracy in documentation.
  • Answers telephone as needed.
  • Attends staff meetings as required.

Schedule Details:

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm with no weekends, holidays, or call. Hours may vary based on the operating hours of the clinic.

Madelia Health is looking to add a one Full Time Staff Accountant to our team!

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting processes, and provides technical support for the finance department.

Schedule:

This is a Full Time position Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Experience: 1-year Healthcare Experience recommended, but not required

General Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Primary duties include preparing inputting, balancing and analyzing general ledger transactions
  • Assisting in preparing workpapers for yearly financial audit, cost report, Hospital annual report and Retirement plan audit.
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Record daily GL transactions
  • Record daily bank activity
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly
  • Assist in accounts payable processing
  • Fixed Asset tracking
  • Prepaid invoice tracking
  • Grant invoice tracking
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flows statements
  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenues and expense reports by department
  • Assist in the month end close process and reporting
  • Explain variances in budget to monthly income statement
  • Special projects as needed
